Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Maybe ever! I got the smoked haddock and it was really tasty and fresh, Really lovely staff and a nice atmosphere

We visited Chip Ahoy with friends yesterday...... Their first visit. What a lovely welcome from Lesley..... The food was amazing, often an overrated remark,,,,, certainly we'll deserved. Our friend hasn't been well and it certainly help make her day. Thank you very much to you and all the staff

Best Cullen Skink soup ever. The owners are very attentive and kind and the place keeps the genuine atmosphere of a harbour tavern. My husband had a chippy nice buttered and crispy and I had black pudding bonbons, nice, crispy and very tasty. A wee gem in Pittenweem. We will definitely back.

An absolute gem of a place with first class food - haggis Bon Bon’s to die for but the best was a smoked haddock with was fried in a light batter and was phenomenal !!!

We came way too late for us to sit in the restaurant but we had a take out and man! Since I am on gluten and lactose free diet I just dreamt of fish and chips and this was like heaven! Really reccomend this wee place in this wee town, loved it and hopefully I will visit again!

Lovely wee pub/restaurant/take away. On a day trip up to the East Nuek, we arrived at Pittenweem Harbour and thought we would try Chip Ahoy. We had been there years ago and it was good back then. Although busy, we were able to get a table. We ordered the chowder followed by fish and chips. The chowder tasted fantastic big chunks of fish, totties etc no complaints. The fish and chips again were great, big portions proper chips and the batter on the fish really crisp and not greasy. The lattes we ordered tasted nice and were hot. The decor was of paintings of the buildings harbours and boats in the local area which made it a really nice setting. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy. This is a great place to come and have a bite to eat in winter and summer. Plenty of free parking, with a carpark up the street at the West end of the Harbour.

We visited Pittenweem while doing a little tour of the East Coast and, on the way back to the car, walked past this place. My husband, not being able to resist fish and chips, suggested we go in. I didn't think I was very hungry, but the smell of the food soon made me feel it! We were served really quickly, and the food was amazing. The interior is interesting to look at with art painted on the walls. Also, a family came in with a dog, and the waitress gave it a bowl of water and asked if it could have a treat, which I thought was a really nice touch.

Ate inside, very welcoming staff. I had a very tasty generous portion of freshly cooked haddock and chips. Good choice on the menu. You can even just have coffee and cake if you like!
